The need for the community to advance in the 21st century to remain competitive is essential.  Pf4 has made a contribution to reduce the digital divide and enhance the community’s technology resources.  When approached by the Pflugerville Council of Neighborhoods Association, Pf4 responded with assistance to locate funds for video equipment.  After search many of the local technology groups, the best match was SBC’s Excelerator program.  Upon award of the funding, the organization was able to upgrade their video equipment.  This will assist the community by making tapes accessible at the library and on the community’s local access channel related to public meetings.

Likewise, the next year the library sought thin-client technology to replace its dated computer equipment.  Through the now, AT&T Excelerator program.
