The expansion of various summer opportunities through the use of scholarships for our community’s underprivileged youth will make available life skills that would otherwise be cost prohibitive to the less fortunate. Scholarships will apply to programs which are administered by the Pflugerville Parks and Recreation Department, including summer camp, American Red Cross swim lessons, and Recreation Center memberships.  These opportunities will be offered at no charge to eligible children who meet the USDA free lunch guidelines.
