  • Pf4 submits grant proposal to Rosie's For Kids Sakes for community-wise technology support.
  • Pf4 submits grant proposal to the National Endowment for the Arts to support heritage tourism.
  • Multiple grant requests were made to foundations for support of the Pflugerville Community Theatre. Private donations were received for this project.
June 2006
  • Pf4 submits grant proposal to the Rachel and Ben Vaughn Foundation and the Topfer Family Foundation for the Summer Opportunities 2007 program.
July 2006
  • Pf4 submits grant proposal to Dell Connected Communities and AT&T Excelerator programs for community-wide technology support.
  • Multiple marketing packets with the 2005 Annual Report were made to foundation for admittance to their selected, annual grant listing.
August 2006
  • Pf4 submits a grant proposal to Balance Bar for a triathlon at Lake Pflugerville.
  • Pf4 makes a presentation and submits a grant request to Samsung, who is renovating its grant program.
  • Additional protection pieces are ordered for the Lake Pflugerville fishing pier signage.
September 2006
  • Keep America Beautiful Fund awards 1,000 wildflower seeds to Pf4 for planting throughout the community.
  • Pf4 submits a grant proposal to the Austin Junior League for a Done-In-A-Day project.· Multiple grant requests were made to foundations for support of emergency management equipment.
  • Web site designer is located through VolunteerMatch.org.
October 2006
  • Pf4 submits a grant proposal to Applied Materials for the Summer Opportunities 2007 program.
  • Pf4 submits $10,000 grant to PCDC to assist with work on the Cambridge Estates pocket park.
  • LCRA Clean n' Green and Treefolks award Pf4 multiple trees for planting throughout the community.

January 2005
  • Downtown Merchants' Association (DMA) awards Pf4 a $2,000 grant for assistance with our Downtown Beautification project. This is the second consecutive year to receive support from this sponsor. A Pflugerville Community Development Corporation grant for $1,760 was received for the Downtown Beautification project.
  • Private donations from the DMA membership and a $20,000 grant from the Pflugerville Community Development Corporation are also received for this project.
  • GEFCU awards Pf4 a grant for free fishing piers at Lake Pflugerville
February 2005
  • The membership of the Fairways at Blackhawk and Creekside Neighborhood Associations award Pf4 private donations for free fishing piers at Lake Pflugerville.
March 2005
  • TXU awards Pf4 a $1,500 grant for free fishing piers at Lake Pflugerville. Also, the membership of the Parkcrest Neighborhood Association awards Pf4 private donations for free fishing piers at Lake Pflugerville.
  • Private donations are first received for the Pflugerville Fallen Warrior Memorial.
April 2005
  • Grant proposals were sent to Applied Materials and Mattel for the Summer Youth Opportunities Program.
May 2005
  • Applied Material awards Pf4 a $2,500 grant for the 2004 Summer Youth Opportunities Program. Underprivileged children receive summer camp, ARC swim lessons and recreation center memberships.
  • Mesa Realty Group awards Pf4 a grant to collaborate with Keep Pflugerville Beautiful on a banner project for the community.
  • The Pflugerville Lions Club, Downtown Merchants' Association as well as the Mark and Jacqueline Palmer Gift Fund award Pf4 $5,000 respectively for the Pflugerville Fallen Warrior Memorial.
June 2005
  • Grant proposals were submitted to the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department and the Kodak Conservation Fund for trail connectivity.
  • Grant proposals were submitted to Entergy and FedEx Global for the Pflugerville Fallen Warrior Memorial.
  • A grant proposal was forwarded to SBC Excelerator for PfCONA equipment.
  • A grant proposal was sent to the Cartis Group for marketing funds for the organization.
July 2005
  • The Rotary Club and Lions Club award Pf4 pass through grants from Wal-Mart for the Pflugerville Fallen Warrior Memorial.
  • Grant proposals were sent to the RGK Foundation and the Hasbro Foundation for Probotics equipment.
  • A grant proposal was sent to the American Girl company for Blue Santa toys.
  • A grant proposal was sent to the Topfer Family Foundation for Summer Youth Opportunities.
August 2005
  • Patriot Celebration raises $20,000 for the Pflugerville Fallen Warrior Memorial. Pf4 is awarded $12,946 from the Pflugerville Community Development Corporation and $5,000 from the Prudential Foundation Employees Matching Fund. Grant proposals were submitted to the Junior League of Austin and the Rapoport Foundation for the Pflugerville Fallen Warrior Memorial. The first Paypal donation is received for the Pflugerville Fallen Warrior Memorial.
  • A grant proposal was sent to Bikes Belong for trail connectivity.
  • A grant proposal was submitted to the Lower Colorado River Authority for tree planting.
  • Grant proposals were forwarded to the Build-a-Bear Foundation and Austin Community Foundation for a new animal shelter.
September 2005
  • Pf4 accepts delivery for Mattel toys purchased at a discount through Gifts In Kind International for the Blue Santa program.
  • The IFF Hummingbird Foundation donates $1,000 to the Pflugerville Fallen Warrior Memorial. Team PPP's Pancake Breakfast raises $6,651 for the Pflugerville Fallen Warrior Memorial.
October 2005
  • LCRA Clean n' Green awards Pf4 fifty 5-gallon trees for planting throughout the community.
  • The US Marines Toys for Tots program dropped off the first shipment of toys for Blue Santa.
November 2005
  • Target grant is awarded with a reception at Zachary Scott Theatre.
  • Fallen Warrior Memorial is dedicated on Veteran's Day, November 11, 2005.
  • SBC Excelerator grant is awarded for PfCONA audio and visual equipment.
  • Pf4 begins work with the Friends of the Library to capture local oral histories.
December 2005
  • The Annual Report is drafted and year-end meeting is planned.
  • US Marines Toys for Tots program supports Blue Santa for second consecutive year.

November 2003
  • Plans to set up the organization were discussed.
  • Four areas were targeted: scholarships, economic development, beautification and youth activities.
December 2003
  • It was agreed that the President would sign all grants.
  • Research is planned at the Hogg Foundation.
  • The bank account will be set up at the new Credit Union.
  • A plan and mission statement was developed.
  • Members should forward biographies.
  • The first projects are summer opportunities, skate board park, a children's museum and trails.
January 2004
  • The bank account was opened.
  • The project budget for summer opportunities was presented and discussed.
  • The mission statement and values were discussed. Letterhead will be designed.
  • The project budget for the skate board park was presented.
  • A report on the children's museum took place.
February 2004
  • The idea for a children's museum was tabled for one year to establish the organization through smaller projects.
  • The mission statement and letterhead were discussed.
  • A press release was discussed announcing the non-profit.
  • The annual budget will be drafted to include the opportunity to gain economic development match monies.
March 2004
  • The Internal Revenue Service non-profit designation letter was received.
  • Grant proposals were sent to HEB, The Milagro Foundation and the Trull Foundation for youth summer opportunities.
April 2004
  • The difference between pocket parks versus one large skate park was discussed. Possible land acquiring was discussed. Seeking monies for this project from the Optimist and Rotary Club were discussed.
  • Downtown improvements will cost up to $12M. A trails map will be brought to the next meeting to discuss the needed locations for dog stations and trash cans.
May 2004
  • Grant proposals were submitted to AT&T Wireless for wi-fi technology, as well as Kodak and Entergy for trails.
  • An annual campaign was discussed.
  • It was suggested that businesses such as Sail and Ski, Academy, REI and others be approached for merchandise to raffle for the lake opening.
June 2004
  • The Texas Downtown Association - Anice Reed Fund will be approached for downtown beautification. The Drop-by-Drop program will be incorporated into the effort.
  • City merchants will adopt a flower pot. The Downtown Merchants may utilize their golf tournament funds and personal donations.
  • The Dollar General Stores (cash) and Match-In-Kind International, Inc. (Mattel toys) will be approached for the benefit of the Blue Santa program.A call was placed to the U.S. Marines Toys for Tots program. A partnership was formed where Blue Santa will distribute toys as there are so many soldiers deployed at this time.
  • A grant proposal was sent to Albertson's for youth summer opportunities.
July 2004
  • Resources for an animal shelter were discussed.
  • Trull Foundation, HEB, Albertsons, Dollar General, and Entergy declined grants.
  • Letters of support from the various represented organizations were requested for the Department of Agriculture's Downtown Revitalization grant. Mattel toys (300) were received for Blue Santa.
August 2004
  • Approval by email was granted to approach The Discovery Store and Match-In-Kind (TY toys) and letters were distributed.
  • A grant proposal was sent to Walgreen's for youth summer opportunities.
September 2004 No activity.
October 2004
  • TY Teenie Bopper Babies (95,200) were received for Blue Santa.
  • The Discovery Store declined the grant proposal.
November 2004
  • The Anice Reed grant for Pflugerville's Downtown Beautification project was awarded at the Texas Downtown Annual Convention in Bryan, Texas. This project is a collaboration with the Downtown Merchant's Association and Keep Pflugerville Beautiful.
December 2004
  • The Annual Report is published.
